what a bunch of lame-oids we are. that's right. lame-oids. how long ago was our deadline? how much work do we have now that we still can't do anything about it? just thought i'd put in writing what we're all thinking...blaaagh.

just wanted to share with everyone how enjoyable our zine night was yesterday.
can't wait to start putting pages together on thursday!

in case you'd like to know

i'm not sure if any of you read my personal blog, but i've come up with an idea to make money during the school year without selling my soul to a part-time job. i'm going to try to use my sewing skillz (i have to use a 'z' to show that i'm not full of myself here) to make throw pillows to sell to a vintage store owner who would hopefully then sell them in her store. i'd also like to try to get an online store going for them as well as get the word out around tcu. i'm going for a sort of vintage appeal with the fabric and imagery that i'll use, because that's what i like, and well, i have good taste.

just thought i'd let everyone know. cause i know you all love me dearly.
anyone interested in a custom design? i'll let you take a look at the fabric and pick your very own combinations. ooooooOOOOOooooh. ok, this is getting stupid now. bye bye.

i've been working on this awkwardly-shaped banner for several days now. after 18 or so hours of working and a million different versions, this is what sent.

i don't know if you can really see the nice hand-drawn logos and type, egad.
